Introduction: Thyrotoxicosis is a common endocrine disorder; variable degree of hepatic dysfunction is often seen with thyrotoxicosis. Severe liver dysfunction associated with thyrotoxicosis occurs rarely. The prevalence of liver abnormality with thyrotoxicosis is reported to be ~ 15–30%.
